My Foolish Heart – Jazz piano solo and trio. Another experiment to see if I could achieve a stereo audio track, and still not sacrifice too much video quality. The text and notation can be seen, though less clear than I would have hoped.
This was derived from a midi file that I had recorded and annotated some time ago. I was hoping to create, when the bass and drums enter, the sort of interplay that the Bill Evans trio was famous for. Of course this is a very pale emulation of this ‘collective improvisation’ style, but is fun to try – even if there is only one player of all the instruments!
