That was so awesome!! I’ve been a guitar player for a long, long time and I recently purchased a bass (I have dabbled in bass guitar playing) and I wanted to make sure I was doing the correct technique. This video really helped!

so when you are hitting the string do you slide below the string for instance when hitting low e when u hit do you tap it then slide down touch the a below it or do you just pull off right away i try and just can’t figure out much becuase it looks like you are hiting it from the top then sliding off of it

well change the angle of the bass as in get the bass closer to your chest or further down
it depends on how you want to slap
mark king has his bass on his chest because his thumb and wrist are parallel to his strings
flea has it low so that his thumb is perpendicular
