it’s very cool.. … it’s very cool.. but honnestly, it’s not a very impressive beat!… most of punk-rock drummers can do that, and sometimes much faster.. personnaly i do it waayy faster.. but anyway that’s a very good lesson for somebody who is starting and trying to learn
What a great lesson … What a great lesson! Do your chops, use fingers wrists and arms (something about the Moeller Method), The kick pedal hop. Awesome. Same as everyone else, I wish I saw that like 10 years ago! I would have loved to havee grown up with hot drummers teaching me on youtube and learnibng songs on drums and guitar by tabs rather than rolling a record back and forth by hand on a turntable with the drive belt slipping beneath. Kids today dont realise how good they got it… lol. I sound like Dad.
Im a punk drummer I … Im a punk drummer I play in a band called Steady 7 we’ve got a couple songs on you tube theres a video of just me playing a song, I “muscle” or whatever the its called because all of our songs have that beat in atleast one part and I get SOOO ing tired/sweaty after about 9 10 songs can anybody give me ANY pointers that would help out a lot thanks!!
punk rock beat? 1st … punk rock beat? 1st thing to do is master the moller technique….he speak the truth then…i tried it b4…..zero knowledge about moller…i do muscle a lot and change the tempo to slow in the middle part of the song….but now i do learn moller and it helps a lot….it’s awesome…try it… but in the foot work? i don’t do sliddin…..i do the heel-toe and it’s perfect to the beat…..just learn the moller technique 1st and do what is shown on this video….
Absolutely great … Absolutely great instructor. Clear, precise, organized, and thorough. My drummer was not familiar with this beat and I had a hard time explaining it ’cause I’m not a drummer. I’m going to let him see this.
