Yeah but try it out … Yeah but try it out anyway, It’s nice when the guitar player has an ounce of a clue about their own time signature. My guitar guys that I play with are split, one of them quit correcting himself so he could move on and play the correct time signature, and the other one never has that issue until I play the snare anywhere besides the 3 beat in a 1-4 or the 2 in a 1ena count. Oh and its easy to sound fast once you know what you’re doing.
Thanks for your … Thanks for your nice words…. when i was studying with Murray Spivack he emphasized that you need to keep your back fingers out of the way. His thing was the grip had to be up in the front between the first two fingers. He actually told me to take the back fingers off the stick to make sure i didn’t grab with them. I think in the end you are supposed to keep them around the stick but not touching the stick. Thanks PR
Great lesson! I … Great lesson! I always used double parradiddles to get thoes accents. Your method is much easier too keep time with for me, plus there are more variations. One question….why is your pinkie off the stick?
a perfect example … a perfect example of “less is more” this guy could play circles around most drummers who use monster kits with this basic 4 pc kit .
he has command of his instument. nice job bud.
any other vids? keep going!
