The fact that the … The fact that the chili peppers realease commercially distributed music videos to the world and have billboards the size of my house being put up on almost every street corner is commercial advertising. Its why they has tons of money. People begin to like these people because of the clothes they wear, they’re hairstyle, all kinds of stupid things. The fact that there are thousands of musicians who can barely keep food on their dinner plates and play better music than this guy is almost unfair.
Fruscainte was at … Fruscainte was at serveral points the place your talking about OSCAR588888. Also Fruscainte is one of the greatest musicains of our time
alejandro8888 you … alejandro8888 you want an example of that tetrachord? haha i really have one! its no joke, listen to this brazilian group, the song its Exxotica – Porcos no Quintal, and later on tell me if you like it =)
So once a guitarist … So once a guitarist becomes famous, he abandons all the technique and creativity that have helped him become successful?
And if you really believe that the best guitarists are starving, can you explain why it is? There are enough artists in our culture that legitimate talent will be recognized and rewarded.
Send me a link to … Send me a link to some of thier stuff and if it is better then lou bergs, I will more then eat my hat. This guy solo is amazing, and he is NOT commercial. He is one of the few who I have up most respect for. Bon iver a like.
But they were able … But they were able to get to that stage through their music. Their first albums were the key. Becoming some of the most distributed in the world. Bands make money through record sales, merchandise, and gigs. You never take style into account when buying record. Froosh happened to be lucky, when he was recognised. And his career unfolded from there.
unfortunately half … unfortunately half of the game is luck. some people get lucky and others don’t. obviously there is some reason why he’s famous though.
But its the music … But its the music he plays that gets him to such a status where people look up to him. He got there by being a great musician and song writer,

Well everyone … Well everyone imiatates there hero’s style into there own music anyone who was inspired by someone else to start creating music has influences from the heroes in there music. But its just taking a part of there style that you liked not excactly imatiting it or stealing it. its more merging it with your own style.
u into David Byrne … u into David Byrne at all? I was reading his online jounal about a symphony he saw that plays all the songs in “no key” all notes were played evenly n there is no melody n it sounds like to most but its avant-garde experimental cool to me.
u do realise there … u do realise there are 11880 possible combinations of tetrachords.. some if not most will obv. not be sonically appreciable by the majority of people, so i’m sure theres still some chords left for someone to play in his music that have never been used before..how about A A# B C C# for a tetrachord..probably will sound like to most people, but a lot of abstract art has that effect on me – visually of course..hahaha
