Not trying to make you sound musically illiterate but when you&#039;re lookin at those chords or playin a groove, try to stay away from the thirds, so if the chord says C7, just play the C and it&#039;s 7th interval. You can use the blues scale in your left hand also (duh) but to keep it simple while soloing just play around with the sevenths and octaves, with chromatic passing notes.
